Transport services and links
Our students come to school from a relatively wide area and we recognise that easy transportation will be an important factor in your choice of school and in your daughter’s enjoyment of her day.
Timings of the School Day
The school day is from 8.35am to 3.45pm, but students are welcome to arrive from 8am onwards. School transport arrives at school by 8.25am and departs at 4pm.
Bus services run by the School
We have expanded our travel routes to make it even easier for girls to reach us and to offer flexibility for parents.
From Dulwich/ Herne Hill
A coach departs from Love Walk via Casino Avenue, Half Moon Lane, Dulwich Village Graveyard and South Croxted Road.
From Bromley North / Shortlands / Beckenham / Clock House / Penge*
A minibus departs from close to Shortlands station via Shortlands Road / Church Road, junction Kingswood Road / South Hill Road, Elwill Way / Brabourne Rise, Manor Way, Overbury Avenue / Wickham Road, Beckenham High Street (Odeon), Beckenham Junction Station, The Knoll, Foxgrove Road, Park Road / Copers Cope Road, Lennard Rd / Aldersmead Rd (for New Beckenham Station), Clock House, Kent House, Penge High Street (for Penge and Penge West Stations).
From Clapham / Balham / Tooting / Streatham*
A minibus will depart from Clapham Park Road (for Clapham Common), following Acre Lane, Kings Avenue and Clarence Avenue (for Brixton and Clapham), Thornton Road, Emmanuel Road, Balham High Street, Ramsden Road, Nightingale Lane and Chestnut Grove, Trinity Road/Boundaries Road, Tooting Bec and Broadway, Mitcham Lane, Streatham Common, Knights Hill, Chapel Road/Gipsy Road.
*As the routes from Bromley North and Clapham are school minibus services we will try to adapt the route to accommodate the most convenient stops for girls wishing to use the service.
Southern Railway has direct trains to major interchanges including Norwood Junction, East and West Croydon, Beckenham Junction and Clapham Junction, London Victoria and London Bridge.
London Overground from Highbury and Islington to West Croydon and Crystal Palace means that girls can also travel from Canada Water and Docklands as well as stations north of the river.
The 450 and 227 stop just outside the school; on Westwood Hill and Crystal Palace Park Road respectively.
The school is also walking distance from the bus hubs at Sydenham and Crystal Palace.
