Our PE team was in full swing this week with seven of our GCSE PE dancers and selected pupils to participate in the GDST Day of Dance at the prestigious Pineapple Studios in Covent Garden. The pupils engaged in a variety of workshops, ranging from lyrical jazz to contemporary and musical theatre. Led by industry experts with West End credits in productions like Wicked and Mrs. Doubtfire, as well as global performance experience with artists such as Jessie J and Paloma Faith, the workshops provided a privileged experience for our dancers. Collaborating with high-performing dancers from our sister schools added an extra layer of enrichment to this extraordinary opportunity.

Our sport teams had a series of tournament throughout the season. The pupils demonstrated commitment, resilience, and the continuous development of confidence and character. The PE team played a crucial role, working tirelessly to foster a supportive relationship with the teams. We trust that this commitment to support extends beyond the Sport department, with all our teams sharing the same dedication to nurturing our pupils’ interests, wherever they may lie.
