PSA

The PSA plays an active role in the life of the school.  There is a PSA parent representative in every form who helps co-ordinate activities as well as provides feedback to the school through the PSA.

The PSA’s role is both social and fundraising.  Every year there is a well-attended Quiz Night, our Annual Frost Fair and Summer Fete as well as events like the recently-conceived Flipside to showcase the talents of our contemporary musicians.

The fundraising activity supplements the capital investment of the GDST.  In recent years the PSA has provided a pagoda classroom in the playground and a shade sail for the outdoor stage for Junior School. An £18,000 minibus was financed just over a year ago, providing a third minibus for the whole school.  The PSA has also financed recording studio equipment for the music department and a laser cutter for the design technology department at Senior School.
