Great opportunities and experiences

A well-rounded education develops the whole person, not just the intellect. We want every student to leave our school not only with great academic results but also with a raft of experiences and skills that either stimulated new directions or challenged her to reach new heights.

This focus runs through every aspect of the school life; whether it is the clubs and activities we provide at lunchtime or after school, off-timetable events for a day, in-school workshops or trips abroad organised by the teachers.  An annual clubs fair in the Autumn Term showcases the options

So it may be community service or an expedition for her Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, competing in the Modern Foreign Languages Spelling Bee, taking up rowing or qualifying for her Crest science award; what’s important is that there is a wide range of choices.

We organise both short courses that encourage girls to try new things with the more traditional clubs and activities that allow girls to develop existing skills to new levels of excellence.
