Icelandic adventures

edit

The natural wonders of Iceland enthralled year 11-13 geographers and scientists on their five day excursion in February.

They saw how Iceland’s special geological location provides geothermal energy for the country allowing homes to use the hot springs to make farms and homes self sufficient and volcanoes to drive power stations.  The visited the Blue Lagoon, saw the Northern Lights, visited power stations and trekked on a glacier, packing many wonderful experiences into their trip.

It was a wonderfully educational and entertaining trip that will be remembered for years to come.
