New Sixth Form centre for Sydenham High students

Sixth form students returned after the summer break to find that major changes had been made to their Sixth Form centre. There’s a new entranceway from the lawn with a new common room, kitchen, locker rooms and study room on the ground floor. There is also a deck overlooking the lawn and the Astroturf as well as new classroom configurations on the first floor giving the building a much more open and spacious feeling.

Kathryn Pullen, the Headteacher, said ‘the girls love the independence and freedom that comes with sixth form life and this is enhanced by this new development. The girls are still very much part of the school as they take on positions of responsibility in the sixth form. This is recognition of their contribution to the life of our school’.
