Years 1 and 2 completely lived up to the title of their concert on 9th May, delighting the audience with their confidence and musicality. All the girls took part in the concert and performed their favourite songs from their music sessions, such as Gepetto Made a Puppet and Seagull. Many of the girls also performed a solo on the piano or an instrument or read a poem. The ukulele club livened up the room with a toe-tapping performance of Rocking and A-Rolling and the year 2 classes performed their own song compositions: Ms Wizz and Bright, Bright Star.  The concert is a wonderful opportunity for girls to perform in the professional environment of the school’s Recital Hall, many of them playing or singing solos for the first time in front of an audience.  These Little Stars certainly have a bright musical future ahead of them after this promising showcase.
