Ralph the Reindeer to the rescue for Year 2!

dsc04704Year 2 dazzled their parents and the school with the delivery of their Christmas play, Ralph the Reindeer, putting everyone in a festive mood.

With Christmas just around the corner Father Christmas is very worried to find that Rudolph is ill.  How will all the presents be delivered in time for Christmas without his trusty lead reindeer?  Luckily young Ralph steps up to save the day but there are a few obstacles ahead that still prove to be challenging for this would-be leader.

At the end of a busy term, Year 2 flourished and flew with their performance which took their already developing dramatic skills to a whole new level.

To prepare for the show, Year 2 rehearsed various poems.  Once confident with these pieces their form teachers, assisted Head of Junior School Music Mr Welsh and Senior School drama teacher Ms Palmer, helped them take their skills one step further to produce a really polished and refined performance.

Thank you to all the parents who helped with costumes and learning of lines at home.
