School exams might be over, but Sydenham High students continue to produce great results – this time in the garden.
Thanks to the efforts of year 7 and year 11 students, a small vegetable garden has sprung to life near the Biology Department over recent weeks. They have planted tomatoes, lettuce, beans, peas, radishes and courgettes which are all growing beautifully in beds and a small greenhouse, under the watchful eye of laboratory technician and keen gardener Sukhi Kooner.
We look forward to seeing a harvest of fresh, organic, pesticide-free produce over the next few days and weeks.
