What a performance: Junior LAMDA pupils put on a show

True Sydenham High spirit was evident at the recent LAMDA showcase when around forty Junior School students  – many fresh from their year 6 play performances – put on a fantastic performance for their parents.

The pupils were thrilled at the prospect of performing for their parents, spending time choosing costumes and working hard to put on a great show.

When the girls took to the stage, they delighted and entertained the audience with poems and scenes from their recent LAMDA examinations in Verse Speaking and Acting.

Parents were treated to a wide range of scenes from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Little Women and Anne of Green Gables to poems about a wobbly tooth and ballet lessons.

As one parent remarked: ‘What a fantastic evening!’
