On Thursday 14 June all of year 5 and members of Debating Club from year 6 visited Dulwich College Junior School for a morning of debating. Over the course of the visit the girls and boys worked together to hammer out compelling arguments to support and oppose a variety of different motions.

We were very impressed with the quality of the debating skills displayed by all the children, with a particular improvement in the ability to respond spontaneously to controversial statements. We look forward to welcoming the boys back to Sydenham High School next year.
