On Tuesday 2 October a delegation of year 6 pupils visited the Oxford Maths Institute at Oxford University, to take part in the annual GDST Junior Maths Conference. The day brought together Y6 pupils from across the twenty five GDST schools and provided an opportunity for the girls to find out exactly what a career in maths can offer. It also provided them with the chance to have a go at problem solving and applying new theorems and equations to a range of different puzzles.
