To Infinity & Beyond at the Science Museum

On Monday, year 3 travelled to South Kensington to visit the Science Museum to support this term’s CONNECT+ space topic, To Infinity & Beyond. During the visit the girls found out more about what it may be like for an astronaut preparing to blast off into space as well how it feels like to experience zero gravity! As part of their day at the museum they visited the Wonderlab in the Equinor Gallery. Spread across seven different zones, the Wonderlab provides loads of opportunities to get hands on with real scientific phenomena, including live experiments at the Chemistry Bar, seeing lightning strike before your eyes, playing with forces on giant slides and travelling through space under a canopy of stars. A great day was had by all and our thanks goes out to the parent helpers who gave up their time to support the trip.
