On Monday year 1 travelled by train to the V&A Museum of Childhood. The V&A Museum of Childhood is the UK’s National Museum of Childhood. It is the largest institution of its kind in the world. Its mission is to hold in trust the nation’s childhood collections and to be an international leader in engaging audiences in the material culture and experiences of childhood.
As you can see from the photos, the girls had a fabulous time exploring the interactive resources and artefacts in the museum’s collection. The day was a lot of fun and also provided a fantastic opportunity for the girls to deepen their knowledge knowledge of how toys have changed over time. Thank you to all the parent helpers who gave up their time to support the trip.
