A stitch in time for our cross stitch club

This year’s theme for the History department’s cross-stitch club, ‘A stitch in time’, was fabulous feminists throughout the ages. Our dedicated students turned up every Wednesday after school to design and cross-stitch a feminist of their choice. It has been a great opportunity to learn about a range of significant women, from Malala Yousafzai’s contribution to promoting girls’ education and human rights to Katherine Johnson, the NASA mathematician who helped get humans to the moon, whilst chatting and unwinding from a busy day. We will miss our Wednesday afternoons!
