As over 60 of our Years 7 – 10 heartily sang, “Consider yourself one of us”, it was hard not to be drawn into the utterly joyous experience of our Lower School musical: Oliver! With outstanding individual performances and a catalogue of classic songs, there were moments which pulled at the heartstrings and others of comic melodrama. But, even more powerful, was the strength and conviction of the whole cast and crew committed to delivering an evening of resoundingly good entertainment.

An incredible sense of camaraderie between the older and younger girls prevailed throughout, and many of our younger audience members longed to get involved in the next production. Congratulations to each and every one involved, and in particular to our hardworking staff: Mrs Brown, Mrs Palmer, Miss Wallis, Mr Mathews and Ms Eastaugh. And a special mention to our lead, Isla, who stepped in at the last minute to play Oliver Twist! It was a wonderful production and something that everyone involved can be immensely proud of.
