Our school’s original Anglo Saxon motto, ‘Nyle ye drede’, means ‘Fear Nothing’ and underpins all that we do. Sydenham High is selective and diverse. We welcome girls with wide-ranging talents and backgrounds into a close community that is large enough to offer choice and flexibility but compact enough to ensure that no girl is overlooked.
At Sydenham High, girls achieve academically supported by excellent pastoral care. Creating an aspirational environment for our pupils is one of our foremost aims and the provision of a first-class education is paramount. Girls at Sydenham High are ambitious and open minded. A lovely school that offers myriad opportunities to these bright, buzzy girls. Parent after parent told us how happy their children are at the prep. One said her family had been thinking of moving out of London but had decided against it because she couldn’t bear to move her daughters from a school where they are flourishing on every level.
