Year 6 had a great time at the Tower of London! The day began with an immersive learning experience about crime and punishment throughout history with the help of Sir Edward Neville, who was trying to escape the tower. As they explored the medieval fortress, they learned about various nobles and criminals who were imprisoned and executed there, including the infamous executions of Lady Jane Grey, Anne Boleyn and Guy Fawkes. The girls participated in interactive activities, examining ancient punishment methods such as the rack, deepening their understanding of how justice was carried out in the past.
