Lower School History

Starting with the Year 7 introductory unit on ‘What is History?’ pupils gain a real understanding of how to be a historian. As they progress through key stage 3 they learn about historical sources, chronology, causation and empathy by examining a variety of significant historical figures and events. The history department likes to offer something to everyone in order to make the subject relevant and engaging.
