Welcome to our alumnae network
Every Sydenham High student automatically becomes an alumna when they leave the school. They also join an unrivalled worldwide network of more than 70,000 women who have experienced a GDST education.
There’s no charge to belong to the alumnae network, so if don’t already hear from us or the GDST, please register here to receive GDST Girl, formerly ‘Verve’ (the annual magazine), e-zines and gain access to exclusive events and career networking opportunities. By registering with the GDST, we will also access your details and be able to contact you about upcoming events or special projects should you so wish.
If you are currently an undergraduate, there are networking opportunities between GDST girls at most universities as well as a growing list of career groups. Click here for details
Visits & reunions
Former pupils are always welcome back at Sydenham High, in and out of term time. If you’d be interested in visiting the school, have plans to organise a class reunion, or just want to let us know what you’ve been up to, we’d love to hear from you! Contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 020 8557 7011.
Mentoring and career guidance
In a time-honoured tradition, we look to our alumnae to help current pupils as mentors and career guides. We would be delighted to hear from former pupils who can offer their time by way of talks, individual mentoring or offers of work experience. Please contact us at email@example.com or call us on 0208 557 7011 if you can help.
Staying in touch
To update your details, you can download an alumnae contact form here. Just complete it and email a scanned copy to: firstname.lastname@example.org, or post it to the school for the attention of Laura Hooper. Alternatively, you can update your basic details on the GDST website.
Sydenham High’s Old Girls’ Association is a separate membership organisation with a committee that meets quarterly to plan events. The OGA can also work with the school to facilitate class reunions if required, and they are regularly involved in planning special celebrations such as the 130th Birthday lunch in 2017.
