In addition to classroom teaching, every subject throughout the school organises an exciting range of off-site trips and in-school events to reinforce teaching and bring subjects to life. These exceptional co-curricular opportunities introduce pupils to many new experiences and enrich their education.
The Performing Arts at Sydenham are excellent and the school regularly showcases its talents in Dance, Music and Drama. The school also offers an extensive range of clubs and sports. We have a strong link with Dulwich College through our rowing from Year 9, as well as our Academic Electives at Sixth Form.
Everyone’s achievements are celebrated here and there is a strong tradition of excellence in our co-curricular pursuits. Standards are high, but, above all, pupils relish the freedom of being able to join with friends and enjoy themselves. We also have a strong tradition of Houses and Inter-House events add another interesting layer of opportunity and engagement in the wider life of the school.
