Our U19 Netball team have had a fantastic start to the season, getting through to the Kent County Finals after winning five of their six matches – an unprecedented achievement for us! The finals take place in November with Sydenham High making the top 8 out of nearly 30 schools in contention. The same team also beat Eltham College in a tightly contested match to make it through to the next round in the ‘Sisters n Sport Cup’, maintaining a strong start to the season.

The other schools through to the Kent County Finals include Sevenoaks, Eltham College, Colfe’s and Bromley High among others, but with upcoming fixtures against Croydon High and JAGS, the team will be looking to consolidate the confidence gained from their first few fixtures but they know it won’t be easy. Speaking about their progress to the Kent County Finals, team captain Sienna said,

“We’re really proud to have made it to the Kent County Finals! As a team we’ve worked really hard and we’re excited for the next round” .
