This term the UNDIVIDED club have been learning about migration. Today we had a very special visitor who shared their story of migration from Australia to the United States. They learnt about the cultural and language differences between Australians, Brits and Americans, and how even though we speak the same language, we have different words for the same object, which can be very confusing.
Did you know the Granny Smith apples are named after a Suffolk born woman who migrated to Australia and accidentally began growing apples in her yard after having thrown apple cores on the ground?
