The Chief Medical Officer for England and the UK Government’s Chief Medical Adviser, Sir Christopher Whitty KCB FRCP FMedSci, returned to Gresham College as Visiting Professor of Public Health on Tuesday evening with seven of our Year 12 Biologists in attendance.
The lecture was on coronary heart disease, as he talked about the causes, risk factors and treatments. Our students are currently studying a topic on Lifestyle, Health and Risk and commented:
I loved how it linked with the topic we are learning right now and how it expanded my knowledge and went above and beyond the curriculum.
