Our Year 12 GDST LEAD enterprise team, ‘Learn With Me’, attended the LEAD showcase event at LSE along with 22 other teams from 18 different GDST schools. This was the chance for each team to deliver a presentation about the business they have been working on since September to industry experts, and also hear from keynote speakers about entrepreneurial spirit and paying their experiences forward.

Our team’s business – which was a mentoring scheme linking students in our school to female leaders in STEAM based fields – was hugely successful and won one of only 7 awards available in recognition of their work this year. Their launch event for the mentoring scheme is happening on Monday evening and promises to be an exciting evening. Well done to Poppy  (CEO), Mei (COO), Kiran (Charity Coordinator), Kia and Semirah (Marketing and Media Managers).
