This Tuesday evening our sixth form artists embarked on the A Level life drawing course at the Anna Lovely Gallery on Sydenham High Street. The experienced gallery owner, curator, artist and teacher Anna Lovely led the session supporting the students in this nerve-racking and demanding discipline.
It was fantastic to see such a large number of students taking part. This offers the students valuable content for both their coursework portfolios and also their foundation course and degree applications.
The room was packed and the outcomes created were stunning. Students used charcoal and graphite to create large scale drawings recording dramatic poses. Well done to everyone involved!
