Professional development for our staff is a key focus at our school, as it is critical to equip young teachers with training and resources. This week, we welcomed 20 ECTs (Early Career Teachers) from various schools, including other GDST schools. Our workshops covered a range of topics including AI and teaching, pupil questioning, wellbeing, and a keynote on metacognition by Mr. Will Ord, Director of Thinking Education. Our teachers benefitted from a fruitful blend of theory and practice.
