This week, our Year 12 pupils were on their Geography field trip in the Lake District for a 4-day excursion. They’ve been busy collecting data in an upland relict glacial environment, examining features like an esker, corries, and Bowscale Tarn. Along the way, they’ve encountered some curious sheep eager to see what they’re up to!
They’ve explored human geography themes in Keswick, evaluating whether it embodies the rural idyll concept. It is wonderful to be learning within nature, putting theory into action! Special thanks to Mrs Buckler, our Head of Geography for leading the trip.
