A glorious end to a challenging year for our newest alumnae

edit

How wonderful it was to be able to welcome our year 13s and their parents back to school this morning to celebrate their absolutely fantastic A Level results. After everything this year group has been through over the past 18 months, they could not have deserved this moment more. They have faced so many challenges during their time in the Sixth Form, and faced so much upheaval, uncertainty and disruption and nothing could have given us greater pleasure than seeing their happy faces today. The sun even came out for them as we raised a glass to them all.

Our Class of 2021 have shown astonishing resilience, focus and determination and they are certainly a year group to be enormously proud of. Whatever they go on to do next, wherever they go now, we know that they will thrive and be more than equipped to cope with whatever comes their way. We are all so incredibly proud of each and every one of them and applaud them all. As this chapter of their lives comes to an end, we wish them the success and good fortune they so deserve as they move on to life beyond school.

Our Class of 2021 have inspired us all and we congratulate this exemplary cohort on their many, many achievements, the biggest of which has to be the impressive way in which they have successfully navigated life in the Sixth Form during a pandemic. Bravo!
