On a very cold Tuesday evening, on 23 November, pupils and parents from over sixty families in years 9-13 attended our event focussing on careers in the fields of finance, law, medicine and public services. Pupils enjoyed chatting informally with representatives from TSB, the Army, and the London Fire Brigade, as well as parents, governors and alumnae working in careers including actuaries, barristers, dentists, physiotherapists and psychologists.
We were particularly delighted to welcome back alumnae, including restructuring professional Natania Duhur and Zara Berry, Head of Membership at Chatham House. The Universities of Leeds and Surrey, and the European School of Economics were on hand to give advice on university courses and applications, and InvestIN gave an informative talk on Essential Employment Skills.
A huge thank you to all those who gave up their time to come and talk to pupils. Our next event focussing on the creative sectors and STEAM is being planned for early in the summer term. Please get in touch if you would like to take part.
