In assembly Ms Dodds, our Assistant Head of Enrichment, spoke about the velocity at which the careers landscape is changing, and the challenges that lie ahead as humans compete with artificial intelligence for jobs.  Problem solving, leadership, creativity, emotional intelligence, adaptability, imagination, and interpersonal skills are essential to set us apart.

To help our students to nurture these skills, we launched our co-curricular & enrichment programme, Mind, Body & Soul, with a “Freshers’ Fair” on Friday lunchtime. The Longton Hall was full of enthusiasm as children made exciting choices. Our programme is a true kaleidoscope of possibility with everything including Book Club, Perfume-Making, Mathematical Lego, Debating, Drama, Photography, Language Karaoke, Raspberry Pi, MedSoc, and many, many more. With academic stretch programmes as well as plenty of seriously fun activities, there is something for everyone.
